(2.8/5 based on 1,400+ reviews on the web)
The city's oldest structure and one of a smattering of remaining Western-style buildings, Sapporo Clock Tower stands among the more popular tourist attractions in town. Constructed in 1878 to serve the local university, the tower features a wood construction reminiscent of architecture generally found in small-town America. Head inside to explore a small museum showcasing the university's history and the origins of the city. • Disappointed as famous as is very visited by tourists, they were taking pictures. It sounds like the hourly Bell habitation to the crescendo of sound atmosphere. And since becoming a museum during the appearance as well as take a look while you think.

  • The clock tower was located near the city of Sapporo, I used it to help me to find the way back to my hotel everyday during my stay. To me, the place looked more lovely at night, especially when the spot light shined at the clock. There was a wooden-made platform located on the front-right of the tower for individual to take selfie or a group of people to take photos with the tower. Very thoughtful indeed!
  • Probably the most famous building in Sapporo, and historically that makes sense, but there really wasn't anything interesting about it to me. It's worth ticking off your list, if only because it's incredibly convenient, and to help understand the history of the city. The former government building nearby is much more interesting architecturally.
  • Wasn't able to go in, but the house looks fancy from the outside. I'm not sure what kind of stuff they have inside the museum. If you are fond of museum I guess it will be worth to check out.
  • A small building but full of information. If you know Japanese then I would recommend you to take guide.
  • A historic place, but looks just like a big Clock. There is an entry fee to go inside.
