Sapporo Clock Tower, Sapporo

2.7
The city's oldest structure and one of a smattering of remaining Western-style buildings, Sapporo Clock Tower stands among the more popular tourist attractions in town. Constructed in 1878 to serve the local university, the tower features a wood construction reminiscent of architecture generally found in small-town America. Head inside to explore a small museum showcasing the university's history and the origins of the city. I'm here because the building itself is located in between buildings is feeling. Smaller rumors have been modest, I cannot see it. I think it depends on each person feel better. Light is very beautiful.

We just take picture from outside, entrance fee JPY200 for adult. Clock tower not so interesting during Summer. I think it will look better during Winter.

One of the tourist's spot in the heat of Sapporo with the long history of the clock tower is good to visit this place, they're including the Hokkaido tourist information for free

Personally, I think this landmark is quite overrated. It's just a building with small clock on it. The building and clock tower is not big either. Perhaps the history and the unusual design (western style) of the building that make it special.

I liked it a lot but probably not for everyone. Museum is cool but only about half of the information is in English. Still very cool and the entrance fee is only 200 yen.

Over-hyped building. Lots of tourists come to see this everyday, but it is a very plain looking wooden building.
