  • Nice park but there was absolutely nothing in the past except snow. There were no displays or anything. No lights show, nothing. This was December. Oh well. The street was nice with lights on the trees and the lighted tower nearby. It was about 6 blocks from the Sapporo station. We took the train to get there but walked back to the station. I hear that there are ice sculptures during the ice festivals during the month of February.
  • It is impressive, long green park. During the summer in some of the areas of the park are held beer festivals. In the autumn German sausage, cinnamon and sugar roasted peanuts, hot wine. The park has an outdoor stage, what can be rented for use from the City Office. The price is under ten thousand yen per half day. Performing, music there is a little limited, for a City Office staff always walks around and checks to “noise level”. Often giving verbal warnings to get the volume down. Taking away the joy of performing live music. But in the average the park itself it’s great.
  • So clean and nice. It's a great place for a leisurely stroll through the middle of Sapporo. We went during winter, and it was covered with snow and all the Christmas lights were out for display. Leads right to the TV Tower. Stop by the tower to have lunch and have a great view of the park
  • It's a long stretch park that is just at the front of the Sapporo TV tower and very near Odori station itself, so it's worth a visit in due convenience. The park is usually where the festivals are held so it's a pretty hot spot for tourists and locals alike. There are fountains along the stretch, and you get to see different theme for each square that you cover. Personally not that big of a fan for this park, but I guess I'll have to come here again during a festive period to see the true hype.
  • One of the landmarks across Sapporo. A number of people walk along this long-streched park. There are different events happens in different portions of this Odori-park. A variety of food stations are located so that both local and tourists can try various foods on the park. No garbage along the street is highly respectful. The festival seems to happens the end of June. I have been here only between summer and fall time. Great place to recommend to visit.
