Categories: Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.5/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web
Stroll through the exquisitely designed and geometrically perfect grounds of Moerenuma Park. Converted from a waste treatment facility and designed by Japanese American artist Isamu Noguchi, the park represents a monumental feat of urban design and a fusion of nature and art. Take part in a plethora of activities in any season, such as visiting the Moere Beach--a small pond opened during the summer--or even try skiing across the snow-covered grounds during the winter. Kids will be able to let loose on the park playgrounds, and couples can opt for a romantic stroll along the 150 m (500 ft) canal. You can hire a bike to explore all the park's attractions, such as the panoramic views from the peak of Mt. more, or the iconic glass pyramid. • Remote, this park is one of my favorite for his sculptures and design buildings. The architect and the designer designed this park as if they were in front of their boards to draw. The best attraction is the fountain with its different powerful jets. A pyramid, very similar to that of the Louvre in Paris, is located in the center of the Park. Discover without hesitation.

  • This is a outdoor art park designed by the sculptor Isamu Noguchi. Design will feel fabulous and at the time, still had something catches the eye, but advanced age opened 10 years ago. The colors were repainted and playground equipment in the Park, has fallen. Among the numerous other outdoor art sculptures to look around, place etc, Moere-NUMA Park to think Art Park is not free to touch or walk on the art, where kids can play pretty. It is filled with cherry blossoms is a design playground mountain symbol of moerenuma Park and you can see even from a distance first, stir the glass pyramid and moelebeach for kids interested in forests. Free entrance in the garden, so is recommended to families with children. Also, guests can enjoy walking and cycling can be 1周 outside of the Marsh Road. Cycling can be, and can bring their bicycles to rent. Guests can enjoy strolling around in a different landscape. Moerenuma Park is caught in the viewing angle considerably different angles. Enjoy the view of look. I think it's a way to enjoy one. I like the landscape across the Marsh from the perimeter road, sunny day. In the Marsh and consideration shown in mirror glass pyramid, also one Moere-NUMA Park. Mountain has steep stairs road and the gentle slope climb slowly from the back road to the Summit. Is weather permitting of course is the city of Sapporo Sapporo Dome, nopporo Centennial Memorial Tower as well as see. No tall buildings near is a 360-degree panoramic view. In the moelebeach in the artificial Beach on the day of the thick summer water. Informal art, so spend slowly. There is also a park in the sense of activity even if you're not interested in art. It is a park living art anyone can enjoy a wide range of age groups. In the season of cherry blossom season-it is recommended until the fall. April to October is peak season. To park in a wheelchair accessible by. Also wheelchair accessible restroom are located throughout the Park. However, because the slope pushing the wheelchair is somewhat difficult. Difficult places paved and slopes are quite steep in places and, over all, I think the visit if it is because it is a wonderful place, might help me with somebody in.

  • Giant park built on top of former garbage dump full of larger-than-life monuments designed by a renowned architect. Simply amazing. Human-made "mountains", Aztec-like pyramids, space-ship sculptures, synthetic beaches. This place epitomizes "nature tamed": a human-designed and conceptual interpretation of natural landscapes. Very cool playgrounds for children. By far, one of my favourite places in the city. Makes for awesome pictures.
  • Excellent place to go..Awesome buildings and Great ambiance..!!!! A piece of advice, avoid going in winter..most of the things are closed during winter..!!! Also, very limited number of cafes, so carry something to eat if you have children with you..!!!!
  • Big open space with much to explore and discover. Difficult to move around during winter and some attractions are closed.
  • A very beautiful place: park-sculpture. Just rent a bike at entreance (200¥ for 2h) and take a tour and understand what I mean! The big fountain (40 min) show its worth. Free entrance all site.
  • It's a great park to visit. Check it out.
