About 800 climbed the stairs from the entrance of the parking lot, we did. At the entrance and there handsome is not thinkable from the staircase on the way up. Equipped with toilets. It is worth walking and climbing goddess. People are afraid of stairs and from the bus stop for Keihan bus "nango" approach, this is honest.

How to first cross the pedestrian crossing from the parking lot and front of approximately 800 stone steps touch this stone is first takes the first step, so it just concentrate only on stone steps in front of the eyes in the intently. Arrives at the stone: so daunting and too much on the look anyway just my feet... feet should just let them far from subtle incense smell and feel up the last steep stone steps and finally a temple opened. After you finish the shrine's main hall and inner sanctuary, chajo! Pray should be feeling depressed and wonder what they would end up with. I think yuzu bath in there or a tea cosy in my throat, so please feel to it. It is a nationally renowned charm prayer Temple. Men and women both came when, by all means to this temple to visit. Next day appointments please note so much physical work

800 steps that staircase is really citrus not.! To return uphill climbing legs in my hands were shaking, is muscle soreness the next day. After the climb is healed because you prayed, and then get citron tea, Kombucha in tea processing.

Where to stay in Otsu

You'll find a scattered few accommodations across Otsu, primarily close to Otsu train station. The options located in this area tend to be fairly standard hotels, designed for businesspeople rather than tourists, with simple rooms, pools, and onsite restaurants. Closer to the lake, things get a little more interesting, with some more traditional guesthouses to choose from. Going anti-clockwise round the lake, you'll find some clusters of accommodations close to the primary attractions, such as hot springs. Then again, you can always stay in Kyoto and take a day visit to Otsu.
