  • Located 5-10 min walk from around the edge of the Canal. Adult admission 300 yen, instead wearing slippers at the entrance has immediately accepted. Seems that volunteer guide (English, its multilingual guides is not) could by description only in Japan. For more information in English, but there only one sheet of A4 size paper, so to foreigners is (exhibition article also only available in Japan). The last meeting decided the border territories of Russia and Japan after the Russo-Japanese war, and large conference room on the second floor is made in a meeting room. Is that 4 Russia who currently meeting room wallpaper is totally black, no time, but tanning of animal skins at the time, type, painted in gold wallpaper in the Conference room, was dispatched from Russia around the clock stunned by its beauty and delicacy. Conclusion of agreements signed in the room next to the photos of the celebration of the border decision after or at the time, Japan and Russia have exhibited some boundary stones of surveying instruments used in each painting, Japan and Russia, such as the stage of history feel is interesting.

  • For 300 yen, you can access this monument of Japanese heritage. The building dates back to Meiji and saw significant moments in modern history as the signing of the Treaty between the Japan and Russia on the borders of the Sahkalin island. The architecture is majestic and the inside froze as if a spell was shot down. Unfortunately nobody speaks English on site, you'll be provides a small brochure in English.
