Thanks to Japan's ability to come up with pragmatic solutions to problems, Tokyo International Airport International Terminal Observation Deck enables you to fully experience the thrill of plane-watching while keeping the airport's passenger traffic in tight order. The fourth-busiest airport in the world has three terminals, each with its own observation deck featuring views of the ramps and main parallel runways at full length. The expansive decks give fine photo ops of plane landings and takeoffs, as well as plenty of seating and telescopes to use. Besides observing the airliners, visit the nearby restaurants and mini-malls for some fine dining and shopping. Tokyo International Airport International Terminal Observation Deck is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our international travel planner, Tokyo Edition.

  • If there are a lot of waiting time due to transit etc., it is good to go to the 5th floor of Haneda Airport International Terminal. You can see departures and arrivals of airplanes and amusement such ...  more »
  • On the roof of the International Terminal. Open 24-hours. And is not suitable for airport sleeping, sitting, so time to kill I think.

  • Large deck looks of airplanes taking off and landing at the great day and night views. Open 24 hours a day. Illumination picture turned around and look cool.

  • very easy to navigate. English signs and englsh speaking helpers everywhere. highly recommend vs Narita. much less crowded.
  • Even the escalator is talking to me. That's too much. Please reduce the gruesome noises. I do know that escalators have an end and that I need to be careful not to die when using them. Who doesn't?!
  • Good sized airport with a couple duty free shops inside the international terminal. You can do all your last minute shopping here they have most the famous brands such as Tokyo Banana and Royce chocolates. There is also a food court if you have time to eat before your flight and the prices are a little higher, but it is the airport after all. The duty free shops get really hectic and a lot of the nama chocolate flavors were sold out.
  • I always opt for Haneda instead of Narista. This airport is so close to Tokyo, only 10 min by train. It could not be easier. Check-in is always a breeze and there is also good options for shopping I. Departure area.
  • Good airport with shops on both sides of the security gate. The shops after security check seem to be cheaper. Duty free stores prices are comparable. The food on the public side is better. It may be hard to get a table during peak eating times. Larger hello kitty store on 5th level. Ninja wifi is located near train entrance on second floor. All high end shops on inside including hermes channel bvlgari etc. Also duty free and decent souvenir shops.
