  • Terminal 2 is mainly available for all Nippon Airways airplanes. You can see many airplanes taking off against the backdrop of Tokyo Bay and the city center.

  • I went to GW. The restaurant was crowded, so We bought lunch at the shop and ate it on the bench on the observation deck. The weather was good, too, for lunch while watching the airplane.

  • Awesome place, really enjoyed the Cafe observatory. Great shows with decent food. Shows are in both English and Japanese, however the staff are not all fluent in English but with patience they can get you exactly what you want. The menus are in English and the place seemed best for desserts and drinks but did have lunch and dinner items. Be aware that some of the items are special priced if you get drinks and dessert, that complicated things when it came to splitting the bill.
  • Haneda is the best airport to be in if you are only doing a stopover in Japan. It's like a summary of what Japan has to offer. Obviously not the full experience but when I was there they offered free to try on kimono. The rooftop view point is an awesome place to watch takeoffs and landings. The plethora of stores and offerings ranged from cute characters, clothes to Japanese tea and snacks. I always prefer to land in Haneda as opposed to Narita as it is much closer to Tokyo too. I'd say Haneda spoils my airport experience of other countries.
  • Compared to Singapore that is supposed to be #1, I much more preferred Haneda. They have better food and shopping. The one thing I wish other airports would copy is that they have a public showers. At 1030¥ it was incredibly worthwhile after flying 8hrs from Singapore and waiting for my long connecting flight back to Toronto, Canada. I'm sure the passenger next to me appreciated it too. I really enjoyed walking through the shops and restaurants. It was like we were back on the street of Tokyo again.
  • Room was super clean and very comfortable. Haneda also has many interesting things to do while there. Highly recommend
  • The best thing about this airport is how close it is to Tokyo. Other than that the airport has a very open feel about it. Everywhere you go there is a large open space, and even an Edo styled restaurant area with a wooden bridge, which are really cool. Oh and the flight deck is awesome! Only issue that I had is that the signage around the place could be better, I got lost a little too often.
