  • It will arrive in about 10 minutes by public ferry from whitewater port of Nagasaki on the big island. Many flights not previously think of home and know better. This island has several restaurants (? ) Of the houses is an inhabited island. Is the island once read the coming song taneda santōka. Cottage in the town until a few years ago, it was crowded during the bathing season, but because of aging now closed. Therefore no accommodation. On the island, public transport is not as motorcycle, bicycle and car onto the ferry and explore the narrow road bikes, bicycle, on foot would be better. A tourist there are few. Walking and you can enjoy the view of the Seto Inland Sea trekking. It is for anything.

  • Over Nagasaki on the big island, in addition to cross by ferry to the remote island. Is a quiet island population don't sound of things nor the sound of the waves by about 20 people. Island is wearing Tangerine fields spread, farmers who have caring for fruit trees occasionally seen. Blurring in quiet small beach is on the East side, I shall want to is recommended because it is relatively good access from the Mainland.

  • Great place for families with children and animal fans. Tipp: once you get to the island, walk to the right side (opposite of the bus direction). The rabbits there are not "overfed" like the others and really more hungry, because less people are getting to that side. Also the landscape is more beautiful there. You should try to walk on top of the island (great view and tropical vibes) on the way. There is a Japanese signpost with "280m" on the left side and wood stairs going up.
  • This was really good fun, we spent about 4 hours here, you can take your car, hire a cycle or just walk around. There is accommodation and you can even hire camping gear to camp at the local camp site for a very reasonable price. The rabbit are extra special, a bit spoilt though, but never the less very cute indeed. You can buy rabbit food at the office where you purchase your ticket to ferry across but we also bought a lettuce and they seemed to really enjoy it. If you have a young family I suggest to take them there as it’s really a fun place.
  • it's the great place for family with children. The bunnies are so cute. The scenery around the island is really peaceful. To go to Okunoshima island: take Sanyo shinkansen from Hiroshima to Mihara, then from Mihara to Tadanoumi station by JR Kuro line. Tadanoumi port is behind the station. Ferry ticket to Okunoshima island is 620Y for round trip. There's a free bus to take you to hotel on center of island.
  • Bunny bunny bunny! Was worth the travel there! Great place to visit!
  • Funny island full of friendly rabbits you can feed. There are also some ruins of pre-war military facilities.
