Spa World, Osaka

(3.7/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
Bathe in the hot springs of Spa World, a vast onsen-style bathhouse with two themed floors used by women and men interchangeably, depending on the month of the year. When bathing in the European zone, you can enjoy spa activities, such as the Finnish sauna and ice baths, before trying out the Greek mud bath or relaxing on a submerged deck chair in the Mediterranean pool. Similarly, in the Asian zone, you’ll find a traditional Japanese bathhouse, Persian milk baths, and Balinese massages. Clothing and tattoos are prohibited in the baths, although you can wear swimsuits in the mixed-gender pool and baths on the top floor. • Think again is nothing new, but rooms are bright and clean. Locker as well as rich and could afford the space. Various baths in the world is of the well shape is different, the or is there something in hot water, but much the same. Small bathroom is crowded and not quite. Rich in Exfoliating service fee, is quite authentic.

  • Abeno station designation 1 urban spa hotel located nearby. Except for new year's to attract customers always discount, PHE, can be available at a price. Can take advantage of cheaper very good, on the other hand is broken and some of the amenities are not available. Feel wonder whether they think hygiene in beside the water spout located on the top floor pool zone of attraction seems to mold and dirt are stuck with a problem but not business as usual. Hot zones for the downstairs is on a monthly basis (men and women) have floor replacement, or women's long hair men's bathroom and is not made of very clean. There is also a lot of corruption the tap and shower head. Overall very impressed, so not recommended not.

  • We went yesterday from about 8 to 11:30 pm. It was amazing!! We paid 1000円 to get in and then you need 2 100円 coins for the shoe locker and clothes locker, which you get back. Women can use the European themed baths on odd numbered months and the Asian themed baths on even numbered months, men vice versus. The baths and saunas were really nice. I also paid 2900円 for a 20 minute salt scrub which was amazing! My skin feels sooo smooth. One of the sauna rooms is a salt room, so you can scrub yourself with salt too if you would like. It was possibly my favourite part of my Osaka trip!
  • Spa World is 1200 yen on weekdays. If you have a few days in Osaka, it's worth a visit. The different themed spa rooms are lovely and a great place to relax for a couple hours.
  • Comprehensive "Health Land", onsen theme park, with indoor water park, gym, Ganban-yoku (heated stone saunas), restaurants, hotel etc. 1,000 yen admission (Low season special) allows you and your family to spend all day here from 10 am to 10 pm. Massages, spa treatment, over night stay extra.
  • Just like ordering fast food in Japan, you also buy the ticket from a machine. This 24/7 huge spa also provides acommodation for those who wish to spend the night. The name spa world comes from the sections of the relaxation areas inside. It has a Bali section which is basically a jacuzzi. My favorite is the salt bath. A unique experience that I think is recommendable.
  • Nice onsen with great Europe theme level. They alternate days for men and women to use different levels. So when I went I couldn't use the Asian theme. The top level is shared so everyone can play on the slides.
