  • 2018 GW, on a three-day weekend went out in the Hanshin area during the first half of April. The first day's museums in Osaka city. The look and the exhibition, what are you doing?, very interesting isn't it. Exhibition of Hotta in Piccadilly is caught, among them. Places less visited Osaka Museum of history. Decided to try doing even more exhibition exhibition you want to watch. Out of the subway tanimachi 4-Chome station on the ground, is 300 m to the East. NHK Osaka broadcasting station and the adjacent massive building, 1st floor entrance is common. In the right hand left hand, NHK Museum. Buy ticket ¥ 600 and go up in the elevator to the 10th floor. And the view from the 10th floor permanent exhibition down to climb down to the bottom while the last six-floor is exhibition. Reproduction floor of the Naniwa Palace is 10th floor, is very powerful. Unlike the heijo-Kyo Palace, Peace Palace, the Naniwa Palace becomes something totally and was because I didn't know enough to say. Exhibition room on the East side of the system, opening and closing Windows and shutters. First shut were open when the floor didn't come back. Apparently seems opened for subsequent associations. It was a view of Andersonville overlooking Naniwa palace ruins. But I am the one who is open, so and unkind. Since then, along the ages from the ninth floor to the 7th floor in the history of the city of Osaka, the various exhibits and models clearly, are described. Many of the exhibits is a real location staff. Many embraced this museum replica in this here is no different. National treasures and important cultural properties, even if the only real impact it. The last exhibition at the six-floor, and exit. Exhibition "Hotta in Piccadilly" be someone who isn't confusing, the exhibits also did not have things like this. Somewhat disappointing. But the overall impression of this Museum, it was good. I think something especially elementary and middle school students on field trips to the great Bill facility. Great design looks right in front on escalators down to the bottom floor and when Osaka Castle from landing.

  • We went to Osaka museum of History after Osaka castle , it's not far maybe only 300 to 400 metres from the front entrance . It's very interesting and offers audio for English and maybe other languages...  more »
  • Visit with their children like the history. From the ancient modern, reveals the history of Osaka to the present day. Although he had seen the character of the Naniwa Palace past in history textbooks of heijo-Kyo and Heian-Kyo to helpful, explained in more detail, even if I didn't understand at the time, but in their various melting mystery! I think is the most interesting, the Naniwa Palace is still 10 floors and exhibited many ancient coins and pottery were unearthed. Exhibition of Namba shrine, Osaka Castle overlooking the spacious holiday and wanted a single space, in which adult admission 600 yen, junior high school students or younger free value for money scale was. Exhibitions of modern and contemporary are reproduced video and of course, enjoy. If you visit from the elementary school upper grades as I recommend, through the master history (? ) I think that adults can enjoy 10 minutes.

  • Offers a fair amount of information about the city of Osaka from ancient times to modern. As with most Japanese museums, it's most beneficial to get the audio guide, as non-Japanese descriptions will be short or nonexistent. Overall a great museum located right beside Osaka Castle, which you can get a cheaper combined entry ticket for the two.
  • Do not expect a complete museum on Japanese history, the museum is on Osaka. However, it is well stocked with period displays and models. The museum provides half a day's worth of content. Located in a skyscraper, it has good views of the surrounding land as well.
  • It has a beautiful exhibits that will show you the history of Osaka since it could be traced back until today. You'll see it develop and it is very interesting. I wish they had life size villages exhibit too. Start with the exhibit on the 8th floor then make your way downwards.
  • Large building but the actual exhibitions are somewhat lacking in content. Only the permanent exhibition was open when we were there and most of it were reconstructions and dress up dolls. Doesn't delve deeper into the history of Osaka.
  • An interesting museum situated beside the great Osaka Castle and nestled within the NHK building... The first moment you stepped into the place was you’ll be awe-struck with the huge globular glass roof... The display was really well managed as it guides you the journey of Osaka since the middle age period
