Namba Parks, Osaka
(4/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
At Namba Parks, designed to resemble a canyon, you can take advantage of a full shopping experience, with several floors of stores ensuring plenty of chances to engage in some retail therapy. On the upper levels, grab a bite at one of restaurants serving both local and international cuisine. The gardens located on the top floor make this complex an ideal spot for relaxation--without leaving the building, you can enjoy a shopping spree, a great meal, and a walk through the park. A theater and an amphitheater, which hosts cultural events, provide additional onsite activities. • At first we thought this was an urban park. Instead it is a nice shopping mall and business complex. It is joined to Namba Station and worth a look if you are in the area. It is a well designed mall a...  more »

  • It's a mall. Granted the roof top garden is unique, but not very large. If you are not in the mood for shopping and crowds it's best to go somewhere else.

  • Back to osaka from mountains with heavy bags, so hot it is... just ot from the station l was looking for a park, a green point to keep cool... but this is a commercial center... Anyway, there are some trees and l stayed a few hours, looking for a job on my phone, the park workers were nice and there a banc with plants all around and even an artificial pond. It helped me to stay alive (-_-;)
  • Great place to escape the busy city. In summer this building, both inside and outside areas, are very comfortable due to lots of shade. On the roof there's a nice garden, where you can sit and relax (also 3 restaurants / bars). Restaurant area has a great diverse selection, and quality is very good. Shops are mainly fashion oriented, but there's also a baby's r us (toys 'r us) on the 1st floor.
  • It's a beautiful building and lots of shopping to suit all type. Much quieter then the shopping just a few meters away. Good place to relax a bit and chill out
  • A nice shopping mall with a cherry on top.. Jk, it has a nice observation deck on top and a nice garden.. At night you can enjoy a nice view of Osaka..
  • Best alternative than Umeda shopping area where is more crowded and too repetitive. Shops in Namba Parks are more classy and friendlier as the flow of clients are much less. Certainly will explore the neighbourhood more next visit
