  • Kuromon Market is a good experience and showed what life is like in a Japanese Market. I prefer Tsukiji market in Tokyo but this was great to visit while I was in Osaka. There was a lot of street food...  more »
  • Visited the food market in the morning, I never seen this even I traveled to Japan more than 20 times, travel more than 100,000km a year in Asia. This is a usual Japanese alley but selling local food ...  more »

  • Lots of fresh seafood sell at a reasonable price! At this place you're able to get domestically plant fruits, souvenirs, seafood and grocery. Highly recommend tourist to go twice. Visit there on the first day and the last day of your trip will be the best. For the last day visit I will suggest tourists to buy their souvenirs and possibly a box of fruits or king crab to treat it family.💕🦀🐟🦐🐙
  • Fantastic market! Loads of character and heaps of fresh food items and wares a really interesting market. Make sure you are hungry when you arrive as there is so much to choose!
  • This is the place for seafood lover like me. Grilled fresh scallops & oysters are best option. You can even try the grilled matsuzaka wagyu here. Several seafood restaurants lined up the stretch of the market.
  • We came here on the morning on a Sunday and only part of the market was open. However, there was a good selection right out of the box and its a great place where we can just walkaround and eat food while shopping. We ended up getting Fugu (poison puffer fish) for lunch and it proved to be one of the best meal I've had in Japan and at an extremely low price of about 3000 yen (we did ala carte but ordered quite a considerable amount). I'd suggest eating inside the restaurant instead of on the street for meals, the price outside on the streets are set for foreigners but local price is provided in the restaurants.
  • Eat way your from one end to the other. This market has all the fresh stuff you can ever dream off. Try the quail egg stuffed baby octopus and freshly grilled scallops. Mmmmmmmmm...
