Grand Front Osaka, Osaka

3.8
#5 of 70 in Shopping in Osaka
Take a look at what's on offer at Grand Front Osaka, a stylish shopping mall and entertainment center with a forward-thinking, contemporary feel. Opened in 2013, the mall has a modern, trendy aesthetic, and the look carries on into the selection of stores (referred to here as ''labs''), which include hip fashion designers, cutting edge homewares, and popular electronics brands. The food court offers a good range of cuisines from around the world, and a communal, well-maintained dining area. Head to the entertainment area and check out a range of science-related exhibits that encourage interactive learning, perfect for kids and adults alike. • With North and South buildings, this place is a large shopping mall that attracts lifestyle customers. Store are well planned, which leads to great layout and smooth traffic. Exterior architecture is also worth mentioning. Is has the elegance of simplicity and nature.
  • Pretty big shopping mall with over 260 shops and divided in several buildings: the first of these is the South Building which is basically a shopping mall, then there is the North Building which has two towers, one contains a large venue called Knowledge Capital with different interesting space for expositions. Not my favorite but good for luxury shopping!
  • A big, quite and luxury Mall that consists of shopping, office and hotel. Just next door to Osaka Station, extremely convenient to connect all railway. Relatively quite compared to other shopping. Probably due to the high end or luxury brand.
  • Great location. Easy access via Grand Front Osaka from Osaka Station and Umeda Station. Friendly, helpful staff and clean environment made my stay pleasant.
  • Huge place. Connected to station. Superb hangouts location

Where to stay in Osaka

The majority of Osaka's moderate and expensive accommodations concentrate in the districts of Umeda, Kyobashi, Namba, and Shin-Osaka. Base your stay in or near Minami neighborhood for proximity to a wide selection of shopping and dining options. For quick access to long-distance transportation to other cities and areas, look for hotels in Kita district. Many backpackers prefer the budget options in the Tennoji area, where the quality of rooms and prices vary wildly--call or check websites of specific establishments before you make reservations.
