  • Me and my wife visited this gallery in mid-December to see the Studio Ghibli exhibit. As some reviewers have noted, crowd control or timed entry is a strong suggestion. I would also echo those suggest...  more »
  • I visited because I did when I came to Osaka Ghibli building exhibition. Great Studio Ghibli, very crowded. Is limited and we have one guide so crowded during the staff.

  • Ghibli building can be seen in, pay 1,500 yen entered. A very last Hokusai was exhausting to watch as it was not is a. Good plans to have got a bit more widely taking passage for everyone I'm a get stuck, stuck. I was very tired. And C'mon, the only Studio Ghibli is from the original pleasant and helpful to the anime world to the model of the building, but many people say it is.

  • We went to see the Hokusai exhibition and were extremely disappointed. After buying tickets we had to queue again for seiriken. We waited another hour to join another queue. When we finally entered, we found there were no barriers to stop people from getting too close to the paintings, so we had to queue to see each piece of art. This caused crowds and meant you couldn`t see most of the exhibition. The staff did nothing to organize the situation. At one point a customer fell over and people were shouting for help, but no one came. Will not be visiting again.
  • Museum on 16F of department store. Hosts major exhibitions.
  • One is collecting interesting work force seems to appreciate the environment. Guide to viewing environment, Museum of fine arts, management was poor at the level I think I found that interesting exhibitions you may click here to watch. I heard for the first time on Sunday. It was the exhibition of Hokusai. Buy tickets in advance because it was crowded and the 16 o'clock. 17:30-handed out tickets for 50 minutes. I heard 6 pm closing time is so funny, but information received following. To see works in a long line of 17:30 time I heard had been lined up. Was this when closing time was what is known. Finally clutter found in sparse in became 18:00 the dependency of people "in the 18:50 main building will be closed. Please hurry up to exit "and has been around a while calling. Was at that time still not going only half as much. Was even then the lines while always like that tsuitemawara back. That should guide when you distribute a ticket first, you're missing the closing time if you notify? If you know from the beginning that together you can watch. It is a funny story is mired in Museum of lack, to be dispossessed of the viewer must work. Officials who see soon is closing time "couldn't focus works at all in Japanese. Room to wheelchair users have been dispossessed. We returned to the voice guidance is about courage. Tuesday-Friday at 8 p.m. opening, had until 6 pm and on weekends and holidays. It's not vice versa? Is not to extend hours during busy times on Sunday? It is questionable whether or not are considering the policies according to the status quo. It is hopeless people gather. I think that's Museum of art when it is nicely, not working. What way should Museum-side neglect, are 追itatete viewers Guide to advance. Nice work, exhibition of. Viewing environment was poor, so very sorry. I think trying to watch a piece where you would see in a place like this works in another environment.

  • Hokusai exhibition Museum Shop, put a copy of the postcard was forgotten. Side by side, lined up at the ticket office to get even, who sees a lot, most ROC, lined up at the Museum Shop cashiers. And not I wanted postcards. It is disappointed. I went with great pains. Say the telephone, even buried under mountains of huge products cancelled, do not know. Cancel and just darn! And neither will hit the cash register, so hit the 1, thousands of people register at the cash register one person say. Becoming ludicrously talking about talking to men of other personnel answered the call, and that, "I thank you" and hung up the phone. Cashier's it's sense of responsibility is not I guess. I also work for sale pass, no matter how busy find unforgettable. I'm out there. Forgotten by the by, do not avoid it. Register forget the pass is do not forget to think. Even afterwards, is a shame.

Where to stay in Osaka

The majority of Osaka's moderate and expensive accommodations concentrate in the districts of Umeda, Kyobashi, Namba, and Shin-Osaka. Base your stay in or near Minami neighborhood for proximity to a wide selection of shopping and dining options. For quick access to long-distance transportation to other cities and areas, look for hotels in Kita district. Many backpackers prefer the budget options in the Tennoji area, where the quality of rooms and prices vary wildly--call or check websites of specific establishments before you make reservations.
