Ōmura Bay is a bay of the East China Sea in the centre of Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan.GeographyThe bay measures about 26km north-to-south and 11km east-to-west. The length of the shoreline is about 360km and the surface area is about 320km2. This corresponds with about 8% of the total area of the prefecture. Compared to its size, the bay is relatively shallow with an average depth of 14.8m and maximum 54m depth. The bay is surrounded by land in all directions, thus it appears as an inland sea on maps. The only two connections to the East China Sea are in the north-west: the Hario Strait with a minimum width of 200m and – more eastward – the Haiki Strait with a width of 10to. However, these two straits do not directly lead to the open sea, but to the Sasebo Bay. In between the Hario and Haiki Straits lies Hario Island. West of the Ōmura Bay lies the Nishisonogi Peninsula, and to the south is the foot of Mount Kotonoo. On the eastern shore of the bay is the, on which the city of Ōmura is located. Opposite Ōmura city lies the largest island of the bay: Mishima (箕島), where Nagasaki Airport is located. For this purpose, the island first had to be flattened and reshaped.Along the bay shore lie the following towns, clockwise from the north: Sasebo, Kawatana, Higashisonogi, Ōmura, Isahaya, Nagayo, Togitsu, Nagasaki and Saikai.

Bridge from the Omura Park extends from the parking area beside the Omura motorboat to Dragon island. Is like a dragon was visited ago the Nagasaki tourist of this typhoon is approaching. In the small island had enshrined the Dragon God's. Ahead of two people who eager to pray rather than more Dragon talk longer to ask the gratitude. and tell her I told. Planned in this typhoon passes very surprising and harvest, without having encountered flight cancellations, I want the feeling of gratitude in return was allowed to visit again.

Via Nagasaki bypass Nagasaki Expressway, is common in going from peace Park in Nagasaki to Nagasaki Airport, had the time, so we ran the along the southern coast of Omura Bay from tidal kikitsu saw through the route 207, go to Tsu. Omura Bay was visible on the far left is lots of curves are also took about an hour, but was beautiful. Nagasaki Airport in Omura Bay floats along the way, also looked good.
