  • Wanted the same mountain walk from cable pattern, so in some cases, staircase up to the main shrine is now far more often. Struggled, climbed ahead of Summit, and scattered in some shrines there are wonderful views.

  • Illustrating was being repaired, but watch from a perch by peaks and views is a beauty to pangya. It's fine when you want it. In addition, interested in swords and armor is recommended also peek at the Treasure House open only weekends and public holidays. Two national treasures and armor of the Heian and Kamakura period armor can compare set at 300 yen. Cable car until shukubo shukubo and the slope until the company followed by slope and stairs, so fitness is required.

  • Mitake mountain cable car summit station continues the approach on the left. And walk for 30 minutes and finally a long stone steps climb to the top and you will see is the main hall. I think it is tough to visit the shrine in the blessings it. Main building around are many temples.

  • I went at probably the worst time—the Sunday before a Monday holiday— and Musashimitake Shrine was being renovated. It was, however, still open with a line of people waiting to offer prayer. Nevertheless, the area was beautiful and the hike up was the right kind of exhausting.
  • Scenery is great just as the leaves are changing color.
  • And approach are well maintained and easy to walk when the get however, nokyo-sho (mountain so hard I'm) like that felt like an assembly line was (laughs)

  • Is located at the Summit of Mt. ontake, actually no clear references to top where is mysterious. Behind the shrine tucked away atop notation. I can't get a ropeway available even without a sweat so far. Stone stairway of the shrine is quite hard. View of mind, Tokyo is stunning from the shrine.

  • From mitake station bus and with cable car to the shrine to pray. A short and scenic "Sunrise mountain" at lunch. Enjoyable half-day hike. Mt. ontake shrine, thank you for the safe hike.
