  • This was definitely worth the visit. I had never heard of the massive tsunami that hit Aonae, and this information center really did a good job of informing me of this tragic event.
  • Really went to okushiri island by the Shinkansen opened in April. Unfortunately tsunami Memorial is closed in winter and, again visited July. Demystify the hotel and took me. We have to understand the Nansei-Oki earthquake. Preferably years opened I wanted to.

  • M7.8 occurred in 1993 earthquake and Memorial for posterity by the tsunami and then lost precious lives of 198. Hands-on experience with the staff who are describing. Reconstruction is two years earlier than the scheduled reconstruction achieved strong linkage of Islanders. I think the facility can learn many things from the Islanders for horrors of the earthquake and tsunami are, of course, but the reconstruction effort as well.
