Okazaki Castle, Okazaki

The birthplace of one of the most influential men in Japanese history, Okazaki Castle offers picturesque grounds, rich historical artifacts, and panoramic views. First constructed in the 15th century, the castle gained renown upon the birth of Tokugawa Ieyasu, a daimyo's son who went on to establish a shogunate ruling clan that lasted over 200 years. Though reconstructed during the 1950s, the citadel retains is original moat and foundations, as well as a range of relics and models displayed in its exemplary museum. Try on a replica version of Ieyasu's samurai armor for a distinct photo opportunity, and visit the viewing platform to take in extensive scenic views of the city and the Mikawa plains below. Contemporary city can be seen from the Observatory floor, but the moat was still better. Reconstructed with concrete buildings one day I do not know, what was the exhibition hall. Because the relationship between Ieyasu and Okazaki Castle is no more explanation. The entire Park was maintained clean. Time 1 hour,

A couple of accommodation options, mostly basic business hotels, cluster around the Higashi-Okazaki train station, in the central part of town. Visitors can also choose to stay in nearby Toyota, which offers more diversity in its range of lodgings, or even make a day trip from Nagoya, where you can find plenty of budget-friendly, mid-range, and upscale choices for overnight stay.
