A very relaxing island with many art attractions, old narrow, charming streets, and a beach and campground. A daytrip is good enough, but it is very peaceful to stay the night when most tourists are.... more »

It’s worth every single penny it charges for the ticket. The art exhibition in particular was personally a life changing experience. I’d come to better understand appreciate modern art, too.
Great place to visit
I think that there is a place where a little more industrial history can be learnt. Because the ratio of art is high, it is a little spicy for people without artistic sense. But to withstand the stylish pressure, I think it is worth visiting once.
Personally I like than the "Naoshima". In the 30 or so Islanders, is the average age is over 70-year-old. Fewer tourists, the island itself, as any appreciation of looking around at your own pace is recommended. Art 疎kute, also drink a breath with the greatness of the smelter. Are the goose bumps. Works that will skip the details, visit the feel in the body. Regret is not. Tickets can be purchased at ticket centers near the embarkation. By 2060 Yen credit is available anyone who likes world of Laputa, the modern industrial world remains the smelter is sure to like. Home projects on Naoshima is big? I think on a whirlwind tour around 3 times, slowly turning, fine in about 5 hours. Transportation on the island is on foot. Rates are one way 300 yen, from Inujima last ferry to hoden port is 18: 45 (Sunday's 17:15). I also would like to try, so can put the barbecue and tents on the South coast of outdoor summer.
I went to a barbecue to rent a pension on the island, but there were many things I personally think about. Especially, it is the trend of the island, the owner of the pension, and the people of the ship is good, young people working in cafes, etc., but the elderly people of the island relationship is not a piece of affable and arrogant attitude. There are a lot of people who dislike the outsider who is just saying not to come to our island. To attract tourists to the island of nothing, and to wind up the gold, the island of the Seto Inland Sea, such as around Naoshima to promote the art island, etc. I felt like I was involved with the islanders who were living quietly, and the correspondence from the people of the island. At least it is a boat like a fishing boat and is ripped out the money to the luggage of the passenger to say the baggage, and I can not even talk peacefully ordinary pension owner to book a pension by phone to the one night I do not have any appeal here. It is recommended that the course which does not concern with the person of the island by taking a small hour of the photograph of the motif of the island of the art.
