Where to stay in Numazu

Most accommodations of Numazu sit close to the main train station. Designed primarily for the comfort of business travelers from Tokyo, they consist of standard hotels, as well as some luxury options, primarily in high-rises overlooking some of the more active commercial areas in the city center. Many more visitors to the peninsula prefer to stay in the resort towns of Atami and Izunagaoka. Located close to hot springs, these cater more to international tourism, offering a wealth of restaurants, spas, entertainments, and places to stay.

  • A tired museum, poor signage. Fish all preserved in formalin or something. Mildly interesting display about the wreck Diana.  more »

  • Visited on Saturday of September. Had a noon admission from the entrance on the first floor of already large matrix. Sees a rare deep-sea fish seen in ordinary Aquarium is nice, but still are scarce. (It's hard is of course is) also exhibit in the alive even less. I am happy and I think breeding is difficult, but in terms of content is about half-price admission.
