  • On weekdays I visited with nine months of son. Paid 500 yen in a parking lot of the ports, but this is just buying something. Is the proximity of boat trains every 15 minutes, embarkation time is 5 minutes or not. It is safe because even people who dislike the ship if it will arrive soon. Piers millet was fantastic in a blue color, right near the Island Hotel, from there walk to the Aquarium and the tunnel on the way and lit up with LEDs. Is quite small and has a size of the Aquarium, near the distance between staff and distance between the creatures can have intimacy. Especially seals and fur seals show no 1 m and the front row of the audience. This son is excited, was first applause. Also penguins and seals or feeding of course popular dolphin show, seaside restaurant, ramen noodles and spaghetti, Octopus, also available here such as good brought a lunch to eat at the table in the garden. This area is great, I think. I think excellent souvenir and spend very enjoyable. Frog frog in the world, displayed on a little ahead of the Aquarium Museum so those who love reptiles!.

  • Mt. Fuji can see them clearly in the good weather. Ship is a little ride, but nice. Anime picture is there and here. See dolphin show immediately after a typhoon, was disappointing. Fewer fish are displayed. The frog is spectacular.

  • Enjoyable place to visit in the Numazu area of Shizuoka. You get a boat over to the island from the mainland. Unfortunately, in recent years they have closed off a lot of the pens, but you used to be able to get up real close and personal with all the animals, nowadays its just the dolphins and sometimes some others too. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a play area for kids. You can walk the circumference of the island even with small children. The hotel on the island has had the Emperor and Empress stay there in the past. Spectacular views of Mt Fuji
  • Kanan Matsuura's home is inside of the park.
  • Lots to see on the island!
  • SUNSHINE~
  • Nice looking and peaceful island

Where to stay in Numazu

Most accommodations of Numazu sit close to the main train station. Designed primarily for the comfort of business travelers from Tokyo, they consist of standard hotels, as well as some luxury options, primarily in high-rises overlooking some of the more active commercial areas in the city center. Many more visitors to the peninsula prefer to stay in the resort towns of Atami and Izunagaoka. Located close to hot springs, these cater more to international tourism, offering a wealth of restaurants, spas, entertainments, and places to stay.
