The best skiing so far having skied at Whistler in Vancouver, Heavenly valley, Big Bear Lake and Reno in USA, Coronet Peak in NZ, Kashmir in India, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic etc. Good Food ...  more »

Although we had an all access pass, we spent most of our time in Annupuri. The slopes were less crowded and the powder was far better than in Grand Hirafu.  more »

From our point of view of Grenoble/Annecien: very good skiing in a very light, deep powder. We were surprised (and delighted), it is to ski on a volcano (without rash for 4,000 years), with so much snow so low-lying (1300 m to the Summit) and so in the middle of hardwoods, and even fruit trees. Also is the variety of the most modern equipment (detachable chairlifts) to the most ancient (small chairlift 1 single place or still 2 places, seat without guard); It is also the coaching of skiing off piste: at the top of the chairlift, ability to access a 'gate' and still walk away with 1 or 2 trackers which provide information on snow conditions, of (very changeable) weather and that close access (nobody is exception) at 2 pm when the risk of avalanche is proven. But in Niseko skiing off piste is earned! To reach the Summit (and thus the Gate 3): a mini bavante of 150 m vertical, straight into the slope, wearing our skis! It discourages the less experienced... Annupuri, it is the station with the most authentic atmosphere for a sports ski (a few good tracks and gates interesting) with a great reward to the arrival: the onsen to relax. Housing appreciated at the Milky House, the ski rental company brings you the material on-site for fitting (indicate if you want more technical skis), and you can rent even clothing! Short Niseko Annupuri, it invigorates (especially when it's a year without snow in the Alps!)
