At Nikko National Park, you can explore one of the country's most renowned and scenic areas of natural beauty. Covering a huge 1,147.5 sq km (443 sq mi) the park incorporates ornate places of worship (deemed UNESCO World Heritage Sites), a serene lake, and dramatic waterfalls. Being a center for Shinto and Buddhist mountain worship, the park offers you the chance to observe some of Japan's most revered and impressive shrines, including the lavish Toshogu, and the mausoleum of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first of the Tokugawa shogunate. The main pastime here is hiking, with trails of various difficulty navigating all over the park. Be sure to stand at the viewing point of the dramatic 80 m (264 ft) cascade of Kegon Waterfall, as it empties from the lake above.   •  Once again, as a student since approximately 40 years Buri to sunlight came round. Fine just finished major repairs of Nikko Toshogu Shrine in the Hua to Kinugawa Onsen, glittering and elaborate buildings built to impress again and stayed for the first time, and was followed by days of rain water, was a large and powerful waterfalls,  The contrast between the Lake Chuzenji lakeside at the height of Japan's leading foliage and Blue Lake. Because this was one night 二日 and bus tours, relaxing, staff relaxed, sunlight.

Rich in history, culture, and nature, you'll be pleased to find that Nikko also boasts a rich variety of accommodations. Competition may be pretty fierce at peak times, but make your reservation early and you'll be able to find somewhere to sleep that suits your style. Luxury hotels and boutiques with "onsen" (traditional Japanese spas) never stray too far from the river, while hostels and guesthouses tend to be tucked away on side streets, and up in the north of town. Mid-range and standard hotels lie close to the main train stations and by the main plazas.
