  • Just 2 hours from Tokyo, Nikko is located just before the entrance to the park there is the famous vermilion Shinkyo bridge where the photo is a must. In Nikko as soon as you cross the impressive Torii that marks the entrance to the Shrine we feel the sense of spirituality that emanates from this holy place. To visit the shrine of Toshogue laid along the Eastern Corridor there is a sculpture of the "sleeping cat" you have to take off your shoes. There is also the stable of horses sacred sanctuary, which bears a décor depicting the three wise monkeys that are part of Japanese culture "cant not feel I don't speak" ... really impressive. After climbing a staircase you can admire the panorama from the top. and words fail ... Amazing!
