  • The Kegon Falls are the only natural outlet for the nearby Lake Chuzenji. The falls are visible from a free observation platform at the top of the cliff, or by taking a 550Y elevator to the bottom. In...  more »
  • A waterfall well worth visiting, or mistaken the entry was 500 yen (less than $5). It's a place that I always go in any season. ... To get the cahoeira go down until a lift ... it's worth a visit to the city of Nikko

  • The best of the waterfalls in this area and worth paying to get down to the best vantage point. The falls look stunning in winter when everything is covered in snow and ice.
  • A must see in Nikko! You will have to pay a fee if you want to take the elevator to the bottom to get the best view of the falls but it is definitely worth it!
  • Superb waterfall! I have visited this twice (2015 Dec and 2016 Aug). If you go to Nikko you must not miss this. Do check the closing timing before you plan because there is an 100meter elevator (550 yen) which takes you to the viewing point for this waterfall.
  • Beautiful place, you can see it from Akchidara Ropeway too, It's near to Bus stop of Lake chuzenji ko,
  • Visit the paid observatory. It is amazing. great place.
