  • We visited at the beginning of March. In the elevator go down to the bottom and from there walking stairs and ramps in little falls will continue. It was still cold was frozen around the falls. Had visited in the summer, but winter also could see the magnificent waterfall.

  • I went in January, but it was very cold. And went down in the elevator, but surprisingly impressed when seen from above. Cold Chinese solid croquette was delicious! It is recommended that go from being firmly against cold.

  • Was the hottest day of the summer is cool and has been inhaling negative ions. We recommend that you take the camera so beautifully in the Smartphone camera.

  • The waterfall was very nice. We went during cherry blossom but there were not a lot of cherry trees around so that didn't really matter. I think this would be amazing during fall when you get the colorfully backdrop from the forest with the green, red and orange. During spring, the waterfall and surrounding area felt a bit blah. Not that it was bad, but it's a 40 minute bus ride from Nikko and an extra $15 bus ticket ($20 to ride bud to waterfalls vs $5 to ride then to see the temple) per person plus $5 to take the elevator down to see the falls up close.
  • Very beautiful scenic views. Kegon fall itself is very beautiful. Look at the rocks on right side of the fall, you will notice how beautiful our nature mother is. Apart from this fall there is museum, eating and souvenir shops. Food was good and not much costly. Must go.
  • Big waterfall, I guess it is more impressive if you use the elevator (was closed at 17h00 but I guess is not free if it was open) to go down see the waterfall from the bottom. The free path is good but you can't see that much ^^
  • Breath taking views of the waterfall. Observation platform from above, for free, or take the elevator down 100 meters to the observation platforms, which are on three levels, very affordable at only 500yen. The view during the winter, during or after the snow, is very beautiful. And, no line for the elevator. Souvenir shops and food shops are very comfortable, with friendly and welcoming staff.
  • Thought this place was absolutely amazing. The waterfall was stunning and was well worth the visit. Reasonably priced and the staff were super helpful, wish i could go back to see it again. The scenery was so beautiful, well worth the a visit
