  • Places where you can enjoy views of the four seasons. Under the lookout pay, only if you're on the lookout offers views of the falls free. The best morning of the autumn season.

  • Like Dragon Falls! The scenery of the Saifei is likely to be even more appealing. The waterfall is conveniently located next to the bus stop. The Red leaf season is a good season for daylight.

Where to stay in Nikko

Rich in history, culture, and nature, you'll be pleased to find that Nikko also boasts a rich variety of accommodations. Competition may be pretty fierce at peak times, but make your reservation early and you'll be able to find somewhere to sleep that suits your style. Luxury hotels and boutiques with "onsen" (traditional Japanese spas) never stray too far from the river, while hostels and guesthouses tend to be tucked away on side streets, and up in the north of town. Mid-range and standard hotels lie close to the main train stations and by the main plazas.
