Where to stay in Niigata

As a transport hub, Niigata offers a number of accommodations focused primarily on providing comfortable one-night stays for international travelers. Located close to the train station, the main hotels come big and small, upmarket and budget, and offer differing levels of additional facilities (spas, pools, restaurants) according to their size and price. If you're in the region for a little while, chances are you're going to Sado Island.   • We had a great time visiting the fish market and produce market in Niigata! We were able to browse and shop and even ate some good food.  more »
