Oasahiko Shrine is a Shinto shrine located at the base of Mt. Ōasa in Naruto, Tokushima, Japan. The kami enshrined there are Ōasahiko-no-Okami and Sarutahiko-no-Okami.Enshrined ''kami''It is believed that in the era of Emperor Jimmu, Ame-no-Tomi-no-Mikoto came to the Awa region (an ancient region that encompassed most of present-day Tokushima Prefecture) seeking fertilized land to sow hemp seeds. The planted seeds were then cultivated by the area's population so they could produce linen called asa, which formed the base of the area's industry. Because of the impact he had on furthering the welfare of Japan, Ōasahiko Shrine was dedicated in the area to worship him as a kami named Oasahiko-no-Okami.The secondary kami enshrined at Ōasahiko is Sarutahiko-no-Okami. He is depicted as standing at the junction of heaven and earth to guide the grandchildren of Amaterasu, the Imperial Family and the founders of the human race to earth. He is primarily known for greeting and guiding Ninigi-no-Mikoto, grandson of Amaterasu, to earth. After his various achievements, he was enshrined at Ōasahiko Shrine along with Oasahiko-no-Okami.

  • Feel the solemn, peaceful atmosphere in here. Shining green visited in the spring season, but sacred that the 1,000-year-old camphor tree or large paste branches, was full of life. Ōasahiko shrine is in the region to feel the history of exchanges between Japan and Germany. Germany bridge located behind the temple is Germany who became a prisoner of war in Asia during World War II, but local people "and, also, have-a-and" to built in Germany for the grateful. People of Germany teaches the production of butter and cheese, making the orchestra played Beethoven's Ninth Symphony ago. Due to sensitivity of the Japanese "I'll sing 9th humanity" or "Japanese love of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony" will be. History of exchanges has exhibited in Germany hotel 10 minutes ' walk from here.

  • Ichinomiya in still in Tokushima Prefecture (and rumours keihanna) in shrine is through. I think the main, large ball life settles dispute was saruda Gen enshrined since ancient times. Air would clear, easy-to-worship Shinto shrine.

  • In the shrine's large and quiet, you can walk around. Walking or is the way to the parking lot at the back of the monkey. New year's day turns midnight wow amazing and always calm in traffic jams.
