Naritasan Park, Narita

(4.5/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web)
Head up to Naritasan Park, a green area with plentiful features, located at the back of a hilltop temple. Opened in 1928, the well-maintained park covers an area of 165,000 sq m (1,776,045 sq ft), and its expanse combines both Western and traditionally Japanese features. Dense wooded areas provide ample shade under the multicolored canopy of the leafy trees, while three lakes act as focal points for gentle strolls through the grounds. Stop in the onsite museum of calligraphy for a welcome taste of culture in this scenic oasis. A visit to Naritasan Park represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Narita vacation route planner to plot your vacation.

  • Good says on the back of the Naritasan shinshoji Temple? Able to take courses from the back of the temple all the way around, and come back, so is recommended after the shrine. And walks up and down the pond and the post was a windown will be. Fairies of seasonal flowers and foliage in the fall. I'm delighted it can enjoy free of charge. Museum of calligraphy in the premises.

  • I walked for the first time this year but the atmosphere is fun. If you go during the warmer months because it was winter seasonal is now also seen different views don't make sense, I think. I wear sneakers, you want to explore.
