Naritasan Park, Narita

(4.6/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web)
Head up to Naritasan Park, a green area with plentiful features, located at the back of a hilltop temple. Opened in 1928, the well-maintained park covers an area of 165,000 sq m (1,776,045 sq ft), and its expanse combines both Western and traditionally Japanese features. Dense wooded areas provide ample shade under the multicolored canopy of the leafy trees, while three lakes act as focal points for gentle strolls through the grounds. Stop in the onsite museum of calligraphy for a welcome taste of culture in this scenic oasis. A visit to Naritasan Park represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Narita vacation route planner to plot your vacation.

  • Now you can enjoy plum, spread behind the Naritasan Temple. I thought it was good around the Naritasan temple shrine and then walk.

  • Park located behind the main building at the back, just plum's best season was in. I was happy you can stroll leisurely and pond down the road and a big carp, a quiet park. Peace Tower and Museum of art is fun.

  • Narita mountains in northeastern half is called Naritasan Park. Upon moving to the Peace Tower from the main promenade to walk I think it is very cold in February, but the season of the fresh green, feeling would be nice.
