  • I wonder if there are regulations that cannot be built tall buildings in the old capital NARA. I think in 6-storey hotel was in the basement of Kintetsu NARA station, had no buildings taller than that. 5-floor building also NARA Prefectural Government was, but for tourists (? ) Is open to the roof. Todai-ji Temple and going on the roof in front on the South side of Kofuku-ji Temple five-story pagoda, East of the great Hall with other buildings appeared.

  • 6th floor on the roof looking up around South [Kofuku-ji Temple and pagoda], on the East side [Great Buddha of Todai-ji temple roof] [or a Todai-ji Temple February Hall roof], North [roof of] goes into the line of sight. Especially [Kofuku-ji Temple and pagoda], you can touch the landscape becomes almost the same eye height and cannot look at other. (Daily changing lunch menu, refer to the attached picture you have chosen the "tandoori chicken" was selected from three a day), can be eating lunch 520 Yen tax in the courthouse cafeteria located on the 6th floor in the courthouse cafeteria so luxurious isn't [ Kofuku-ji Temple and pagoda: lunch with a view is worth. R floor is located on the 6th floor but recommended 6th floor views through the glass Windows surrounding the cold day R on the floor when the weather is good, admire the surrounding rooftops is here. Note: height:50.1m five-story pagoda of Kofuku-ji Temple [to-ji Temple five-story pagoda (54.8 m Kyoto) to the height of the second]. On the ground floor lobby left January 26-28 in [heijokyoato] was being held "NARA leader mountain Festival" in Devas were used to exhibit and tour of floats in "zochoten" came in "NARA leader mountain Festival" until [Kasuga Taisha Shrine] on the right hand And between the main wall (the prototype of the EMA) until 3/31 are exhibited (see attached photo).

  • It is recommended that I think that the majority is more head from Kintetsu NARA NARA Park, a paved road on the South side of Kofuku-ji Temple, but make a stop to the Prefectural Government Office on the north side on the ground floor. Cafe and while seven-eleven and, there is also a nice toilet. You can eat on a bench equipped with air conditioning, eat space is available if you buy takeaway coffee and pork buns, ice cream products in the eleven. Manners and goes out and keep in mind who are afraid of the toilet of the temple comes in handy. However, because space is limited, meaning not avoid to stay. I yield to each is more important. Keep as a Manor have also finished the meal and rest and give my seat to the next person.

Where to stay in Nara

The historic city of Nara has a welcome number of accommodations for an urban area of its importance and popularity. Close to the main train station stand the main high-rise hotels in the city, all towering over the commercial and modern district that greets train travelers on arrival. To the east, things get a little more luxurious, with hotels close to Nara Park particularly well-appointed and rich in additional facilities. Standard hotels stand in a cluster to the southeast of the old palace ruins, while a number of pleasant, no-frills guesthouses can be found in the residential suburbs.
