Valley of Gangala, Nanjo

Categories: Caves, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.4/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web
Walk down a mystical route at Valley of Gangala, a valley formed after the collapse of a limestone cave. The forested valley has inspired a number of myths and folk tales, and legend has it that spirits dwell in this secluded area. Tall trees and bamboo grow out from the foot of the valley to join the forest above, with the dramatic rock formations of the valley walls blending with the foliage to create impressive scenery. A limestone cave offers another layer of mystery and magic (and a cafe) to your adventure. • Nothing interesting and not much to see except the old tree which was there over 150 years and worth taking a photo. We went there by joining a tour and considered it was overpriced for such scenery.
  • See stalactite cave is eerie. Cannot only hundreds of meters from the entrance. It collapsed more than soil buried up the. Had another cave entrance, surrounded by ropes, "per risk of prohibition" of tag is hung. And again the caves of Okinawa, typhoons and natural phenomena gradually have been weathered by ceased to care. Galleria last weekend I think.
