Nirai Bridge/Kanai Bridge, Nanjo
(3.5/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web)
Enjoy sweeping views of the vast Pacific blue from Nirai Bridge/Kanai Bridge. A popular tourist spot, these two bridges standing at 80 m (262 ft) at 180 degrees from each other serve as the main gateway along the coast of Nanjo prefecture. You can see Kudaka Island in the distance on the scenic drive. Be prepared to be dazzled by the view, but keep your wits about you, as the road has a reputation for car crashes. You can’t pull over on the bridge, but you can make use of the small parking spot at the beginning of the structure. • The view from the observation deck on the tunnel is the best. However, no parking is on-street parking. Sunny day is a nice contrast between the sea and the bridge could feel so good, cloudy or rainy days. It is recommended that go out and check the weather.
