  • August Lavender season was over, I went to the farm Tomita. And stalks of lavender farms in many (? ), But there was still a little late blooming Lavender. Plantations in the colorful flowers in the summer, such as marigolds are in their full glory in a belt and it was fine. It's much less visitors than Lavender peak July weekend crowd, overlooking the garden and a good time.

  • It is a flower to represent the Furano. June and July Lavender season crowded with tourists. Fewer people in the early morning, you can enjoy the flowers.

  • Went the first day it opened on 21st of April. Nothing was planted and there were no flowers, if so, why open? Regardless, the gift shop had incredible view of their flower display and the green house...  more »

  • Huge flowes farm in Furano, about two hours drive by bus from Sapporo. You can see flowers everywhere, lavender field is beautiful. If you come at the wrong time you can still see lavender in the greenhouse. They also sell soap from lavender oil at the souvenir shop. You must try lavender cone ice cream here. Great place but nothing special here.
  • Visit Furano. Hokkaido, the second largest island of Japan is very famous for its lavender season. Usually this season starts in late June in summer. ... Lavender Garden – Farm Tomita, Furnao. This is one of the most beautiful spots in the island. Walk around and see the beautiful scenery all around. There are shops selling plenty of soaps (lavender smells of course) and plenty of super sweet Hokkaido melons and ice creams. Recommend you drive here yourself and take as much time as you want to walk around the whole place. It’s pretty large and we spent close to 2 hours just walking around and taking photos
  • Huge farm full of flowers. The souvenir shops are wonderful. They also have a soap factory. They make lavender of anything (ice cream, saop, etc.). There is also a greenhouse and inside is beautiful High recommended.
  • Farm Tomita is a great place to look at flowers. Their specialty is lavender. Even if you come at the wrong time, they have a greenhouse with blooming lavender. The farm sells all sorts of lavender products and also boasts of the largest dried flower house. A great place to chill and enjoy a cone of lavender ice cream while watching the tulips swaying in the breeze.
  • About 2 hours drive from Sapporo, parking is free. Visited in early June, when the flowers were not in full bloom. Nevertheless, the lavender field was amazing, with the snow capped mountains in the background allowing for great photos. The lavender ice cream here is a definite must try. It is extremely delicious and we couldn't find it anywhere else after that even though we visited other flower farms. Have your fill before you go! Lot of tourists though so might be a little hard to take photos.
