Colorful blossoms abound at Farm Tomita, an expansive network of flower fields that remains best known for its lavender, a traditional favorite of the island. The verdant farm, nestled in the forested foothills of the surrounding Tokachi Mountains, grows everything from poppies and baby's breath to roses, though lavender truly takes the cake here. Browse the shop after wandering to pick up a range of lavender-themed, lavender-flavored, and lavender-infused goods, like pastries and creams. • Although it is autumn, we expect to see the lavender only in the green house but we managed to see them in the open field, on our way to the shop. The scenery surrounding the field was gorgeous with t...  more »
  • Fantastic Lavender Ice cream, nice flower field with landscape of mountain ranges nearby. Its definitely a must go when in Furano
  • Enjoy a whole field of lavender here. There are also other colorful flowers. Nice mountainous scenery in the surroundings. You can buy dried flowers & also lavender scented toiletries.

  • We were here today 6th.oct, and now is not lavender season so they replaced the farm with other multi color flowers. Love it. Entrance is free. About 15mins walking distance from naka-furano JR station.
  • This place was great and I would have given it 5 stars if we hadn't also gone to Nakafurano. Tomita was really great with tons of shops and things, but also incredibly crowded. I had a more relaxing experience at the other fields we visited, but that's really the only downside of Tomita. Recommend.
  • Amazing lavander field and lots of other flowers. Must try lavander ice cream, so unique and delicious.
  • Even though you don't enjoy the crowd, you would regret if you miss this one. A historical farm, amazing scale with seasonal flowers which are annually rearranged. Recommend you spend a whole day, enjoying various gardens and snacks. Good lineup of souvenirs.
  • came here around end May so there isnt a lot of flowers. I love the lavender + honeydew ice cream here, definitely the best soft serve ice cream i have in Japan.
