  • About 2 hours drive from Sapporo, parking is free. Visited in early June, when the flowers were not in full bloom. Nevertheless, the lavender field was amazing, with the snow capped mountains in the background allowing for great photos. The lavender ice cream here is a definite must try. It is extremely delicious and we couldn't find it anywhere else after that even though we visited other flower farms. Have your fill before you go! Lot of tourists though so might be a little hard to take photos.
  • The most famous tourist spot in Furano. There are Lavender fields and small section of flower fields. This area have a good display of history about Tomita farm and the Lavender industry. Price are higher for this place. I visited this place end spring. and it's less crowded. and many of the food stall are not open. There is a green house for Lavender for those who are early for the bloom. Perfume made from Lavender are sold. Process of manufacture perfume and lavender soap can also be seen in one of the building.
  • nice gardening! A bit commercial and too crowd. But if you dun have enough time, this is a "must go" place!
  • Farm tomita, a beautiful place where you can see plants. When they are in the season. Do try the vegetable curry rice and the lavender ice cream. They also have a shop with all the lavender scented stuff.
  • Life saver, where everywhere i cant see flowers in may, i get consolation here. Not alot but enough to satisfy. They have a beautiful dry flower shop.
