  • Politely gave us the process of how to make a sake! Counter is the best craft beers and aged sake, 1986!

  • As part of a recreation of the company participated in the brewery. 16 is divided in 3, focusing on the beer of their choice. It's wort surprisingly over time 3 hours, tasting and enjoyment. In their spare time had mackerel sand by lunchtime. About six weeks after they delivered home 7! I am looking forward. Label as original as you can ask. It is highly recommended. Akihabara, manseibashi bridge to shop there.

  • Older and much visited noodle shop in the hotel's wine cellar. Also its foreign counterparts also has a more valuable Japanese think of introducing to Japan so much better still.

  • The Kiuchi Brewery is a lovely spot. You can see how and where they produce their beer and of course you can taste it as well. They brew my favourite Japanese beer, the 'NEST' beer. It comes in different varieties from Ale and Lager over Dark beer to Weizen (and much more). They also have a little souvenir shop where you can buy useful or less useful stuff...
  • An absolute must-visit place in Japan for beer lovers! The brewery tour is conducted in small groups and you can get a really deep insight into beer and sake brewing. The tour also includes a very generous tasting of some of the ales that are currently in the making. Needless to say that award-winning Kiuchi Beer (Hitachino Nest) stands out in the Japanese craft beer scene.
  • Nice restaurant with gift shop. The tour was my favorite part.
  • The nest beer (especially the pale ale) is just simply delicious :) they also have some limited edition ales that, I guess, you cannot find on regular stores
  • Cozy and historic
