  • Maybe rarely stop by in Okinawa would be location. I tried do dare. Onoyama Park is Central Park, kinda different image and atmosphere. If you have time, shrine may be well over.

  • Naha-Shi OU Mountain Park next to the Okinawa Prefecture, gokoku shrine is felt is a bit different from the other gokoku shrine I visited. Is beginning to have enshrined the killed in action of the Sino-Japanese and Russo-Japanese war and later is the same, but perished in the national crisis then. That point is different. Normally prefectures of Pacific war veterans and later police and self-defense, fire danger and war as in the battle of Okinawa is enshrined to work side by side, or the martyrdom, but including also guests from the Mainland, Okinawa, and in features that even ordinary citizens caught up in the war, died, children's distress and civil service relationships when people are enshrined. Simply a number tells number approximately 178000 Okinawa how battle-field was in. Where I do not know if the contents of the enshrinement, but became a battlefield because feel the presence relatively new? image of disabled American Veterans? to something words can't? appeals? you can imagine without the knowledge like this scene was in fact nothing but. I thought religion matter Okinawa Prefecture, gokoku shrine was burnt down, leaving office as one of the battlefields and want to drop by and thank.

  • Quite big one, all made of concrete. Only the garden (mostly empty) and the paved way and stone stairs seems to be original. Still, very clean and well maintained.
  • Here is the Holy Land, which enshrined the soldiers and the people of Okinawa, which defended nation. It is a matter of course is to pray to the heroes who gave their lives for the nation.
  • Just another ugly, post-WW2 shrine built out of concrete and ignorance.
  • Heart Shrine temple to pray for ︎ victory.
