Where to stay in Nagoya

The central district, just south from the castle and its gardens, houses the bulk of accommodations in Nagoya. You'll find a good range of standard hotels, with onsite restaurants, simple rooms, and perhaps a pool in this area. Look slightly to the west, or closer to the castle,to find more luxurious accommodations. Across the surrounding residential areas, take a look close to the metro stations to find some of the most conveniently located, but budget-friendly hostels and guesthouses.

  • yamazaki mazak museum of art
  • Private in Higashi-Ku, Nagoya City Art Museum. That exposes a collection of Yamazaki Mazak machine tool manufacturer's owner. Collection is represented by art works from the Rococo to the Ecole de Paris and Emile Galle Art Nouveau and art deco glass and furniture pieces. The fifth floor of the building containing the Museum of paintings, 4th floor is exhibition of glass works and furniture. Here are basic and shoot OK. This holds true only in collections, exhibitions, not great. Admission is 1,000 yen, but slowly I would price.

  • See when walking in go direct from the underground "shinei" "Museum of art" art in the very footsteps so use other nerves. In the unemotional person in charge of the tension. I thought art works tend to cool stuff, but is free to come in.
