Tsurumai park, Nagoya
(3.8/5 based on 190+ reviews on the web)
The oldest park and the best cherry blossom viewing spot in Nagoya, Tsurumai park encompasses both Japanese and Western styles. The west side of the park displays the European influence fashionable during the site's construction in 1909; note the large water fountain and a gazebo for musicians. By contrast, the east side features a Japanese-style garden. The park has plenty of space and seating, perfect for picnics and long strolls. Try to identify the many types of flowers and trees, including Yoshino cherry, Japanese andromeda, flowering quince, tulips, and camellias. Using our international travel planner, Nagoya attractions like Tsurumai park can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Really long time and I went to a lecture hall. (Kuroyanagi Tetsuko San anecdotes, such as Corky is) autumn still was in the blue sky was crowded with people standing and den odeum in coniferous family trails around. Hall was often went to movie premieres and lectures. Also quaint and listen to the story while sleeping in the Chair.

  • This is one of the most popular hanami viewing spots during spring. It's also expansive park accessible from almost anywhere in the city.
  • The park is clean, is near the subway, and safe. It's especially beautiful during sakura season. A great place to take a walk or for picnics.
  • Great place to forget ur pain. Awesome nature!!! Really love it..
  • This park has a very nice rose garden that blooms in May. During late March to mid April many people have cherry blossom parties, as there are many cherry trees. The vegan festival is held here as well. You can often see cosplayers here, too.
  • Beautiful location with ponds, woods, a lotus pond, and the best place to see cherry blossoms in the spring. Great festivals year round.
