Observation Deck
Enjoy captivating views of Nagoya from the sky balcony of the oldest TV tower in Japan, Nagoya TV Tower. The tower stands 180 m (590 ft) high and has two main observation decks you can visit, one indoor deck at 90 m (295 ft) and an outdoor sky balcony at 100 m (330 ft). Bring a camera along to capture spectacular photos of Nagoya from the outdoor deck, especially during sunset. A restaurant and gallery sits on a deck 30 m (98 ft) in height, and you’ll find many more shops and eateries at the base of the tower.   • a great way to experience the expanses of Nagoya- we were there at night, as were 100's of noisy school kids but plenty of room and no problems - short walk from our hotel  more »

  • give it a miss unless you are thinking who loves going up towers. It a nice view of the city and nothing more.
  • It was an interesting place to see. Good observation of the area from inside it. Neat shops in the area. It was a relaxing place to explore a little bit.
  • Modest observation deck. Good city skyline view, especially at night. A bit expensive for what you get.
  • Nice view of Nagoya. Offers also plenty of souvenir shops and vending machines for drink. The tickets are cheap and an lift (elevator) will take you up with staff giving you informations about the tower - just in Japanese, though. But overall a nice place
