Hisaya Odori Park, Nagoya
(3.3/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web)
Enjoy watching carp and ducks in Sakae river from Hisaya Odori Park, a green belt running through the main Hisaya Odori Street. This strip of urban greenery in central Nagoya hosts a great deal of social and cultural activities year-round, and the street it runs through is so wide that it has been dubbed “the 100 m (330 ft) road.” The park features the city's TV tower in its center, as well as a prominent bridge and several small waterfalls. A fountain clock shows the time in Los Angeles, a sister city, while the park also features a flower clock, an artificial river, and three plazas holding various events. You can watch performances by singers and dancers throughout the day. Before you head to Nagoya, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly Nagoya vacation planner, to make sure you see all that Nagoya has to offer, including Hisaya Odori Park.

  • We visited because it was time Thailand Festival held here. I think as a city park and relaxing place.

  • Trade pavilions themselves are located in an underground space under the Park. Turns out, you can stroll to the shops, and then climb to the top and continue your path among the trees, or just sit on the bench.

  • Near the train station, so something will pass during the holidays. This year go to occasional events. Stop by if you are doing events.

  • Lot of green citizens and visitors can enjoy the Nagoya TV Tower perch here. During the event at many stalls, fun. It is a sister city with Los Angeles.

  • North Cherry Street, River Park are people fewer, quiet atmosphere. Keyaki-namiki-you can feel like a foreign country park. Out to lunch and stroll is recommended.
