Hisaya Odori Park, Nagoya

Categories: Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
3/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web
Enjoy watching carp and ducks in Sakae river from Hisaya Odori Park, a green belt running through the main Hisaya Odori Street. This strip of urban greenery in central Nagoya hosts a great deal of social and cultural activities year-round, and the street it runs through is so wide that it has been dubbed “the 100 m (330 ft) road.” The park features the city's TV tower in its center, as well as a prominent bridge and several small waterfalls. A fountain clock shows the time in Los Angeles, a sister city, while the park also features a flower clock, an artificial river, and three plazas holding various events. You can watch performances by singers and dancers throughout the day. • It is located in the heart of Nagoya, the quiet park. Come here if you get tired walk, the slowly. Who is not much of a comfort.

  • I walked the Hisaya odori Park on the north side of the river. Nostalgic place so close to the high school after school came on a walk with friends. Fewer people compared to near the TV Tower and near the imanosyo of the South, forget the hustle and bustle of the city. Zelkova roadside trees were grown (was doing well over 30 years, so of course it is), is a good atmosphere, such as tree-lined streets of overseas. Stroll around the outside for lunch is recommended. It is as well as North, walk around the moat.

  • Think pretty people gone, quiet and nice space. Group prattling talk becomes Madame, I'm happy.
