Hisaya Odori Park, Nagoya
(3.3/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web)
Enjoy watching carp and ducks in Sakae river from Hisaya Odori Park, a green belt running through the main Hisaya Odori Street. This strip of urban greenery in central Nagoya hosts a great deal of social and cultural activities year-round, and the street it runs through is so wide that it has been dubbed “the 100 m (330 ft) road.” The park features the city's TV tower in its center, as well as a prominent bridge and several small waterfalls. A fountain clock shows the time in Los Angeles, a sister city, while the park also features a flower clock, an artificial river, and three plazas holding various events. You can watch performances by singers and dancers throughout the day.
