Hisaya Odori Park, Nagoya

(3.3/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
Enjoy watching carp and ducks in Sakae river from Hisaya Odori Park, a green belt running through the main Hisaya Odori Street. This strip of urban greenery in central Nagoya hosts a great deal of social and cultural activities year-round, and the street it runs through is so wide that it has been dubbed “the 100 m (330 ft) road.” The park features the city's TV tower in its center, as well as a prominent bridge and several small waterfalls. A fountain clock shows the time in Los Angeles, a sister city, while the park also features a flower clock, an artificial river, and three plazas holding various events. You can watch performances by singers and dancers throughout the day. • In the middle of moving the party passed through. This is a pretty nice Park. Was 15, Buri, and large modern buildings standing, I was surprised.

  • It is impossible to miss Hisaya Odori Park. Main attractions such as Oasis 21 and TV tower are located there. Sakae Shopping area is also around it. Any exit of Sakae subway station will end up there ...  more »
  • It is a park in the space between the two main. Is a quiet Park and underground city beneath it through the normal move because homelessness is often too slow to be. Events (beer garden, music, etc) will be held according to the season, so by the time atmosphere changes completely.

  • Lot of green citizens and visitors can enjoy the Nagoya TV Tower perch here. During the event at many stalls, fun. It is a sister city with Los Angeles.

  • North Cherry Street, River Park are people fewer, quiet atmosphere. Keyaki-namiki-you can feel like a foreign country park. Out to lunch and stroll is recommended.

  • Admission is free. It is when you go out shopping with enough time to explore here, well in advance, enjoy views of the four seasons.
