Where to stay in Nagoya

The central district, just south from the castle and its gardens, houses the bulk of accommodations in Nagoya. You'll find a good range of standard hotels, with onsite restaurants, simple rooms, and perhaps a pool in this area. Look slightly to the west, or closer to the castle,to find more luxurious accommodations. Across the surrounding residential areas, take a look close to the metro stations to find some of the most conveniently located, but budget-friendly hostels and guesthouses.

  • Once from the location of the wooden Bell hammer town of Samurai residences Noritake and imoto by prosperous to factory centre built for painting with fabric from the MINO and Seto ceramics group company was the predecessor of TOTO, etc., Nagoya Japanese ceramic industry bandwagon and made a fortune as a trader in China's old House is. Japanese-style house was built in the early Showa era from the late Taisho era, Western, ZAO, tea room and garden at that time remains saved. Accented with stained-glass Windows throughout the House are heartwarming, and surrounds on the L-shaped garden atmosphere rich, delicate fretwork transoms and through RIM's Japanese-style house. Utilized for current exhibits and gatherings, was shown this nitten, doing avant-garde ceramics and works surprisingly quaint space and harmony! Old dining room facing the large Japan Garden House on the first floor are a café terrace and 寛gimashita at break time while watching the garden. Sales of the original coffee beans and a snack menu. Miss across an ostrich for his photo! By the way the service is free on visit fee ¥ 200.

  • I visited on a weekday afternoon. The garden let me look around. Tea House is relocated, and the opening was wonderful. I felt I want to visit was the day of cloudy weather pattern, but has a nice garden, so now is good weather.

  • 0/1926 (1926) when I was in old buildings given Nagoya tangible cultural property. Can be he can admire the stained-glass Windows throughout the Western-style house in the garden side stained-glass tea room (old canteen) worthy, especially in using the tea room is watching and photography are available. Or even close to closing time and 17:00 Western front on the second floor through the window looks inside the stained-glass Windows by internal light looks so time adjustment is available in any viewing is recommended. Japanese-style house is recommended also the landscape looks from tea rooms larger than expected, fine, Japanese-style palaces and a transom is beautiful garden in Western-style and Japanese-style house.
