  • Now, on the parking and on the way was done construction. Who will direct, as was parking smoothly. I'd better pay attention to driving tour buses have had other narrow streets, so good. Weather permitting the shrine is best. Wet pretty with an umbrella when it rains (cloudy day) wind is so strong, I think. Shrine Torii shrine gate down on the seaward side. You could climbed, Torii gate, Offertory box is installed on a goes throwing again. During the parking (you can have a box at the bottom of the gate, so your dedication to) near the gate at the side (tourist bus parked near the top) and a little uphill, so small children and elderly people are I think it was parked near the gate to better.

  • Very few parking places, the platoon waited 1 hours or so, and by noon we were leaving, outside waiting for the train to go more, but after seeing the recent expansion of the parking lot, these situations should be turned around well. Because there are so many people, there is no sense of the shrine's silence, and there is no such thing as liking this place.

  • Often go near my parents ' House. When the area is in place for fishing and diving and rough sea seen squirting of the Dragon Palace. From oils heading south towards the car, myoken prospect Park → Katsuaki Togo upland rice terraces from Yoshino-corner shrine → senjojiki, reverse is nice. Be careful because there is a narrow width of the road. President Vladimir Putin also stayed at the hotel Yumoto Onsen.

  • Voted by CNN as one of Japan 34 most beautiful place and I think its true! Truly amazing especially with the ocean as the backdrop. Parking space is limited and the road leading to the place is quite narrow so do drive carefully.
  • The scenery was beautiful. Recommend to come by car or taxi. I had my wedding photos taken here!! It's also listed on CNN as one of the most pretty places. While you are here, walk up the steps to the large gate. There is a coin box hanging at the TOP of the gate. Try tossing your coin into the box! It's one of the highest in Japan.
  • Great shrine, pretty off the beaten path but worth it. Spent about an hour, taxi from station was 2310 yen one way. Amazing views and a really cool place!
  • I have visited many kind of this place in Japan like Fushimi Inari Taisya in Kyoto, but the combination between tori(gate) and sea make this place very special for me.
  • I went here on 7 may 17. The place has best viewing spot to the see. As it boasted on the information board in front of the shrine. If there is a room for improvement, it is the transportation. There is no cheap, or better yet, free, transportation from nearest station. I saw from the internet, the nearest station is nagato-furuichi station. but the option after that is walking or taxi. Using taxi cost you around 2000 yen. with the potential of being the tourist spot in the area, a free shuttle bus would be good. And I hope this place also recognized by the Yamaguchi prefecture, because when I call the "Yamaguchi Call Center" (the sticker posted everywhere on the nearest bus stop to the tourist object), for direction from tsunoshima bridge to this place, the english support staff seemed not know about this place.
