  • It is blown by the bomb on one side, other side one is left alone pillars Torii. I thought what is broken by the bomb that is disastrous, but only one remains, still remains very strong and want to leave. That may be a little distance from the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, etc, but well worth it.

  • There basically isn't anything to see here other than half of a torii, but you can see the scorchmarks from the bomb up close and really imagine what it must have been like. A different experience fro...  more »
  • At the stop of the cruiser in Nagasaki we hired a tour on foot to visit several sites with ruins that left the atomic bomb that was launched in this city during the second world war. The tour included the passage through the site where it is the column that was part of the entrance to a temple and that is retained as proof of the terrible effects of this pump. About in this column, there are also 3 trees camphor showing burns and harmful effects that also suffered these trees. It is an interesting site to visit in Nagasaki and if it is a guide explaining details of the site and the history, it is more pleasant to visit.
