Nagasaki Penguin Aquarium, Nagasaki

(4.3/5 based on 160 reviews on the web)
Nagasaki Penguin Aquarium offers a glimpse at nine different penguin types, including rare species. Meet the large, gentle king penguin, as well as the little penguin--the smallest penguin species in the world. The aquarium lets you get up close to these lovable creatures, and children can delight in feeding and petting them. Row a kayak in the nature zone--an outdoor part of the compound--and then explore the biotope environment. Other than penguins, the aquarium also holds fish. • Penguin Parade, touch events, and swimming in the sea and can see the penguins decided to visit. 30 minutes by bus from Nagasaki station hanging arrived, and on the way back I thought rather than buses (1-2-3 at the time) often. Didn't have much attraction around the Penguin is a little difficult to get on the course if you're not interested in. I personally have a similar scale (2nd floor): the Whale Museum and Ulsan, similar content feeling. If you are interested in the animals. Or the venture thus far. ..

  • Where was I went from many years ago. You could finally go. The entire hotel is where young and old can enjoy variety in age range. You can see various species of fish and shellfish to other penguins. Many organisms are tired. Unusual outdoor Beach penguins, will let them play freely. Morning and afternoon with 1 each, seems to be ☆ Penguin dinner time. I think it fun to visit at that time. I finished unfortunately time was not too much to see. It was really disappointing. Also I try to go. Wilderness location so the

  • Notable collection of penguins, both cold-weather and temperate penguins. Lovely area with penguins living in the bay. Don't miss feeding time when they broadcast feed and have penguins walk alongside you on the beach. Large number of King penguins with glass enclosure where you can get close and have a great look at them. Everything is CASH ONLY. Tickets, food, everything. Bring cash!!
  • This aquarium is a must see if you are in Nagasaki and you love penguins. It's small, but has many different places to see the penguins, even on the beach outside. This was the closest I'd ever seen a penguin and it was really fun. Check the website for information about feeding times and make sure you see at least one. It might take an hour to get through everything at a moderate pace. It was a bit difficult figuring out how to go to the Aquarium from Nagasaki, but when we asked the information desk in the Nagasaki station, they gave us all the details. The bus stop was across the street near the Yoshinoya and you have to take a special red bus towards Aba. There is no bus number, but if you look at the attached picture, you can match the kanji on the time-table to the kanji on the bus.
  • Great for penguin lovers, not too crowded. Have a penguin beach where the penguins wander onto. Have times for guests to do petting and feeding as well.
  • Went there on weekday and there weren't too many people. Though the facility doesn't look new, there are plenty to see. Visitors can view swimming penguins through the huge tanks, equally interesting feeding sessions shouldn't be missed.
  • Nice to be able to get up close and personal with those little Arctic snugglers.
