    Nagasaki City nishizaka Hill climb Japan 26 martyrs martyrs monument. Memorial is in the back, you can follow based on the actual article history from the arrival of the Christian martyrs. There is also a detailed description of each martyr and a small brochure also provides. Heaven boy Envoy of Julian nakaura, going in there was a letter. If you climb on nishizaka Hill, the Nagasaki magistrate's Office, clearly also the relationship of Christianity derived from a variety of historic sites.

    Japan 26 martyrs Museum and monument (to juroku comingof Museum) is a Museum in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, in Japan 26 martyrs by the Catholic Church was founded. The next door Park nishizaka, Nagasaki Prefecture historic site "nishizaka Hill". It is a museum located in the hills of nishizaka six foreign missionaries and 20 Japanese members, 26 Saints martyred in 12/19/1596 (2/5/1597). Kenji Imai in the 3-storey concrete building design, opened in the year 1962, the canonization of the 26 saints of Japan 100-year anniversary. In the exhibition room, from a Christian missionary in Japan by Xavier, from the prayer of the martyrdom of the 26 Saints in the era of oppression, and that during the period history of revival of faith of the Meiji era ran numerous articles are introduced.     Sombre and historically significant museum to learn about the sacrifice of the early Christian missionaries in Japan. Lots of explanations in English and the exhibits are well laid out.

    Definitely worth a visit given its spiritual significance. Monument honors in a meaningful way the courage and bravery of these martyrs in Japanese history.
