  • I climbed the skyline from the West side of Yahiko shrine, and look at the prospects for the Summit, but was closed by a landslide. Is also attached ropeway, next to Niigata City was imminent because I gave up prospects from Mt. Yahiko. Good weather is so very disappointing it is.

  • Hard slope, as a succession of steep curves of Yahiko mountain skyline, to the top of Mt. Yahiko. Not saying the slightly fogged up and with a superb sea looked beautiful.

  • The ropeway is a great shrine is stopped because there was time and easily climbing can enjoy, so is recommended.

  • But it is convenient to use the ropeway until peaks as high as Tokyo sky tree of 634 meters above sea level, atop Yahiko mountain skyline drive or, in about 5 minutes (round trip fee 1,400 Yen), Yahiko shrine aside firmly maintained trails also, many climbers throughout the year. Climbed to the top in about 45 minutes, so will just good high mountain climbing beginners and people start climbing. Attention is required from slips, even if the only maintained trail, although it is sunny even wet, shady-part. Also, Rocky places because if thick-soled shoes still is safe. Also trying to climb in the car and arrived to the top in any case top echigo plain, from wide and far Sado relaxed Japan sea views is the best! Sunset over the Japan Sea time encounters, is especially recommended. May see lights at night. Without moving yourself paid 100 m rise to rotate panorama Tower (650 yen) and it will take you 360-degree views. Yahiko shrine are lined with TV Tower, the Yahiko mountain, Panorama towers near the building of the rest is not headed for a while back, "Mausoleum (goshinnbyou) ago that. Incidentally to the sacred mausoleum "Mikoto (candy basket mount only) and wife" mature panicle ya life (! Ascidians Hime Mikoto) "are enshrined, and recently, as monkeys are very popular. If located at the foot of Yahiko shrine with here pray, may further blessing. I think as the mountain dining options are located at the top, make anyone feel free to climb all year round, winter because of the snow, but even closer to Niigata Prefecture. Incidentally Yahiko mountain is in Yahiko shrine so the whole mountain, is one of the best in the prefecture. And would be Yahiko mountain climbing, even close to affordable spas and hot springs also be healed even.

  • Climbing Omotesando exit (from Yahiko station 15 min. walk) from the Summit in beginners easy to climb the 1 hour and 30 minutes, and attracts many climbers. This is the mountain views of the Japan Sea from the mountain top and echigo plain, wonderfully familiar to many people.

  • 9-point climb the Summit Ridge. Japan Sea open all at once, in the winter from strongest wind to the Summit. Arrive and climb to the top of the ninth with eyes at the summit station of the aerial tramway went on the other side (North) about 100 m. Would struggle to climb it is many people walk up to the top and down the aerial tramway, in the winter is moderate (light crampons, etc.) is not equipped with wind in the frozen Ridge Road (down well off farmers). Summit has developed into the Japan Sea are plain.

  • Close the Office at 15, so want to make nokyo-sho's attention. You can see from Sado Island, Japan far away in the perfect spot overlooking the sea of Japan. Obtains the shrine itself have to say simple and honest. You will not want to revisit that. It is, however, no doubt to the location you want to visit at least once in my life.
