4.5/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web
See the fusion of Buddhist and Shinto influences that separates the region from others at Kumano Nachi Taisha, a UNESCO-protected Shinto shrine occupying the same plot as a Buddhist temple. Located halfway up the mountain, the shrine stands at 350 m (1148 ft) above sea level, with its impressive backdrop featuring the tallest waterfall in the country. The shrine's architecture and spiritual importance combine with the scenery to give the area an atmosphere of reverence and calm. Part of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route, the shrine--along with others on the 1000-year-old pilgrimage route--has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beautiful view at the same time falls at Temple and Nachi falls from the seigantoji Temple. Beautiful sexy mandala triple Tower of fun.
