Scenic Walking Area Nature / Park
Breathe in the fresh air of Inokashira Park, a welcome green lung offering a range of attractions. Founded in 1918 in what was then a suburban area, the park stands in testament to the growth of the capital throughout the 20th century, and now offers welcome respite for city-dwellers. Admire the blossoms and the main lake, taking a boat trip out onto its waters to gain a new perspective on the park. A small shrine, petting zoo, and aquarium form the park's cultural highlights, making for good focal points during a number of long ambles around the grounds. • Very peaceful and serene atmosphere. Well connected by public transport. Trendy neighborhood shops and earning places.
  • nice place to take a break in "crazy" Tokyo, having a large pond, before that there a ghibli museum, even it have a small zoo! many sites you can enjoy with your whole family or yourself to visit here!
  • A very nice Park with a large pond. It's a serene experience to walk through, but you are definitely not isolated. There are many others enjoying the walkways and bridges as well. Well worth passing through if you are in the area.
  • Great place to take the kids for a walk. Paddle boats on the lake, food and drinks. Can be very busy during cherry blossom season though, but a relaxing place still all year round.
  • Loved it.. I don't know what it is, but I feel very relaxed walking around this park. The cherry blossoms makes it even better.
