  • Have wanted to go here since seeing it being built on Megastructures. Read reviews about all the different pools i.e. Deep Sea, Arctic, Coral etc. Very mixed feelings. The main pool is huge, it holds ...  more »
  • Still fewer people at the opening and closing before you recommend. Especially in the evening iejima island scenery and sunsets look so is recommended. Feeding the jinbeisame before the end is funny.

  • After a long absence from the beauty came to the Aquarium. There were many people on weekdays though. Few years, cafés never before seen in an aquarium while you dine.

  • To all of you that hate animals in captivity, you are stupid. This is a wonderful place where children, who can't afford to go far off exotic places, can see magnificent creatures. I consider myself fortunate to have the ability to visit this aquarium. I will gladly give this aquarium my business until my last day on Okinawa.
  • I removed a star because the exit process of the parking lot is classic Japanese inefficiency at its greatest. We sat in a line for about 35 minutes as the old men directing traffic literally cause more chaos than necessary. I'm for elderly people getting jobs, I'm just against them getting jobs in the parking industry. I'm writing this from the car in the parking garage... still haven't left. Great aquarium.
  • One of the best aquariums in the world. Breathtaking views of salt water fish, rays, sharks and 3 whale sharks. The secondary visits are also well done. It can be crowded, arriving around 9 AM will beat the crowds on most days. There are many cultural exhibits near the aquarium, an Okinawan village and a recently refurbished exhibit of island hopping Pacific peoples travel by boat. Highly recommended.
  • whalesharks and mantas travel huge distances and go to great depths in their natural home, this is nothing but torture for these magnificent creatures. please do not support any business which holds animals in capitivity for human entertainment, get your diving licence, travel someplace exotically beautiful and watch them in their natural home, while you relax on holidays. Win for all involved.
  • Excellent aquarium. The entrance fee is very pricey. Go to local Japanese convenience store and tickets are much cheaper then buying at the entrance of aquarium. Had lots of fun with my family. The restaurant that is all you can eat is not delicious. Actually, I was highly disappointed with the buffet. I have a big appetite, but I did not eat much of the food. Bring your lunch with you.
