  • I drove to the aquarium from Okinawa City early on a Sunday morning. I wanted to beat the crowds but got there at 10am and it was already crowded. I can't imagine this place during peak tourist...  more »
  • After a 2.5 hour drive from Chatan/Kadena for 70km (~12:30/15h) because of a lot of traffic, we didn’t take the toll road, we finally arrived at the well organized parking lot. After paying 1880¥ we.....  more »
  • Really enjoyed a lot at this attraction. Suitable for family recreation activity. A good photo spot. Still love it so much even though it had been over a year ago. Visited on June 2019.  more »

  • Took a lady friend here for a date. We both enjoyed the place, we got to see a lot of marine life for the first time because of the vast variety of sea creatures that they had. The place itself was clean and organized. It was big enough to explore for an hour or two but you can definitely sit down, have a conversation and stay longer to watch fishes, sharks and whales like we did. We had a magical experience and I know that with the right person you will too!
  • This aquarium is extremely knowledgeable about caring for their animals and educating their guests. I loved having a bite to eat next to the majestic whale sharks almost as much as I loved helping feed the dolphins and admiring the sea turtles. The season pass is definitely worth it if you're going to go more than 2 times in a single year and, trust me, with as many events as the host you'll wanna go more than once!
  • Marine life was very great to observe and artifacts were very interesting! Many angles and viewpoints of the main tank are fantastic and make room for many great photos. The selection of fish to view is vast and every species is intricately described. If you're on Okinawa it is a must see.
  • It is a vast place, full of wonderful aquariums and a wonderful variety of marine life. It is better to visit in non-public holidays as it can get super crowded with families who bring kids. Ample information is provided in English, Chinese a d Korean ( though the special app of the aquarium, which is meant for tourists, is only downloadable on Japan registered mobiles). You can buy the ticket from your hotel in Okinawa for about 200¥ less (and also avoid the ticket-buying line)
  • Pretty cool experience. Definitely a lot to see. Got to see the whale feeding and dolphins. They have a huge space outside for kids to play and a really nice garden to walk around. Only thing that sucked was they only took yen in the restaurants. So if you are a tourist make sure to take out yen before arriving. There was no ATM in site.
