  • Bus stop at heiwadai 30 minute bus from Miyazaki station. From the bus stop is 10 minutes ' walk. There are buses to the Park leave very little. Very comfortable using the mountain, and is very hilly. Seen a boardwalk over the big pond (新池) and its surroundings, strolling, walking my dog. Plate that Piazza has a huge peace pagoda, became the starting point of the torch relay during the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games, on the ground that it is embedded. Also, shower garden with various garments placed in the Woods, was giving a unique atmosphere.

  • Heiwadai Park. Images are hanging out than say a flower garden in my head from such a name consists of fruit, if anything like a dried persimmon somehow. To the heiwadai Park along the way you will see the mountaintop where the mystery. Try we parked in the parking lot and character of universal brotherhood. As the anniversary of the 0/2600 eight, is made as the underlying column (under the candy Hammer's kind). After the defeat to the U.S. military removed brotherhood characters after Miyazaki Prefecture Tourist Association Chairman iwakiri shotaro committed, revitalized and is. It is in the sense that to one world brotherhood all human beings in the real sense that family peace wants and wishes. Mystery similar to the shrine and sacred atmosphere. We have greeted haniwa were in the back.

  • It was so green (summertime) and picturesque., clean and relaxing. There is a bus that goes there from Miyako city but you have to walk a bit far from where the bus stops. We saw doves and it was indeed a peaceful place, as the name suggests. Lots of trees and greenery. I highly recommend it for nature lovers. I added some photos when we visit this place on a springtime. The tulips were so colorful.
  • The park seems to need maintenance, and would definitely be better during any season but winter, but seeing the sunset over the peace tower was still a wonderful experience!
  • Good for relax. Like walk in the forest. I think it will be fantastic when season change. Bad we go here after typhoon come.
  • Beautiful park for a walk, especially at sunset. Questionable history behind the sculpture, but it is pretty cool to look at.
  • Beautiful peace park, nice memorial, and make sure to check the Haniwa at the back!
