  • Like other reviewers have mentioned, several of the animals seem abnormally thin and low on energy. Instead of my being awed by nature's creatures, their sickly appearance made the visit feel like an ...  more »
  • I really don't like zoos but my son loves white tigers so given the favourable reviews we did the 4 train trip from Tokyo. They have an amazing range of animals but couldn't say anything about conserv...  more »
  • I visited Tobu zoo and it's accompanying theme park with some friends in September 2015. It's a nice enough park, plenty to do, don't miss Kawasemi and Regina! Some nice views over the lake are availa...  more »
  • A bit pricey to enter and parking but lots of animals the white tigers are the main draw. It also has a decent amusement park with Regina. It's a large wooden roller coaster. In summer there is an outdoor pool complex too. I went for the winter lights. It was nice and not very crowded even on a Saturday evening.
  • I was expecting it to be bigger than it is, but thankfully it is a manageable size. It has a lot of animals that you can't see in the more popular and reasonably priced Saitama Children's zoo such as elephants, monkeys and white tigers. It is most famous for its white tigers. It is home to the first ever firefly house.
  • Not busy the day after the annual free entry day. Good assortment of animals to keep kids entertained. Not a great lot of food options.
  • Very pleasantly surprised. Much better than the Ueno Zoo. The sea lion show was amazing. It is a lot of walking to get to the zoo area if coming from the train station, so maybe a better option to take a taxi to the West entrance.
  • Super big place for a zoo but they do havethe white tiger there
