  • Mito Castle is one of the Castle Japan 100 so I went. Just 10 minutes walk from JR Mito station. There are a few major monzeki Earth earthy alone, there are ruins of stone school was built. White buildings of the white walls and tile roof was like castles. The Kodokan, plums in the garden was nice.

  • In Mito, 定府, and spent money on the 'history of Japan' compilation, Castle has wide stone wall, but seems less impressive. Was his three-storied turret is burnt in air raids during World War II, because it was superb as the Castle, the Castle also President medical gate except such as this are not, in recent years, making so-called Castle. Parking is available at an additional cost East parking lot after the Prefectural Government.

  • Explore has been helpful to moats, ninomaru ruins, inDecember brochure recommended walking routes. Suigun line overpass and climb the route 51 from Komon shrine, Scissor track, right left the castle is ninomaru. And white walls honjou bridge turn right curved slope go left from the highway and rail town Sakashita gate monument, left climb the Hill in Mito mitaka in Mito one kuinji. Sugiyama gate monument, Sugiyama Hill, and Mito in (2) to return to the original, followed by a white fence and just inside the gate next to the large Shii tree about 50 meters ago bridge over Nakagawa River and the Suigun line looks seen there was a lookout platform. This is the superb view. The diesel has come. I get major bridge towards ninomaru Palace, monument of Mito, a study hall, street and walk back to the original road was under some construction, had a big gate. For the major reconstruction of the gate they were asking for donations. You could see karahori, earthy side street in the East end of Kodokan and goes to the Prefecture, East Hall in front of the target. While observing the slow walk, took about two hours. Mito Castle is nestled between the Naka River, Senba Lake and wetlands slightly elevated Hill area in strong fortresses, castles is not. We feel as if we knew for the first time at the Castle walk some. There are many attractions. The good season to come visit again.
