Volunteers will explain turbine mechanics and maintenance and inspections. The machinery from the Edo period. Gears and gearing are all wood. Roots of Japan is also here.

  • Osawa is a deep land history since ancient times people have been living in mitaka city. Using the flow of the river water is tells the modern living in this area since the Edo period. It was explained that named new car (shinnguruま) and the mill of the newly made against it, upstream from this old has o-guruma (large wheel) is an enormous turbine. In slightly inconvenient to visit because there is no parking, but sometimes when the Firefly atmosphere unique to this beautiful land of water can be enjoyed.
